Morning of 14th August 2012, Ernst and Young Vietnam (EY) hosted the handover ceremony of financial consulting project – part 1 to Hoa Binh Construction and Real Estate Corporation (HBC).

This 3-component project was started since May 2012, including: Financial regulation and procedures between parent company & subsidiaries, budget planning & cashflow forecast counsel and performance management report like setting up main valuation criteria for construction segment.

The objective of this project is to enhance transparency in management and capital allocation between parent company and its subsidiaries, efficiently manage cashflow via timely, accurate and flexible planning tool and ensure alignment between business plan and daily activities. Through management report, owning to optimal financial solutions, the Board of Management would lay a firm foundation for investors in business performance updates, financial capacity evaluation, consequently heightening cooperation opportunities with HBC.

At the ceremony, Mr. Phan Dang Chuong – EY’s Deputy General Director, said “ This is EY’s one of the most critical consulting projects. We have received much concerted support from HBC’s management and other project participants. We are now positive of two remaining parts to bring effectiveness in HBC’s financial management”.

Two parts left of this project are expected to come in effect after one year.
