On November 20, 2007 Hoa Binh Construction and Real Estae Corporation made the following announcement: The People’s Committee of Phu Yen Province has agreed for Hoa Binh Construction and Real Estate Corporation to start formality procedures for investment into the ecological tourist area “Thanh Lau” poplar forest and the area around “O Loan” Bay. These areas will serve tourist purposes of Vietnamese as well as foreigners

+ Area 1 – Thanh Lau Poplar Forest: the land area is about 100 ha, a ecological tourist project will be built. And the An Hai bridge is to be built as a BOT project.

+ Area 2 – The area around O Loan Bay (East of Quan Cau mountain pass and alongside Highway 1A): The land area is about 200 ha, on which a golf course, an amusement park, resorts and tourist services facilities will be built.

To prepare for the development of the projects in Phu Yen Province, Hoa Binh Corp has started formalities to establish Hoa Binh-Phu Yen Investment and Development Company, of which the charter capital is VND 40 billion and Hoa Binh Corp contributed 98% of it.

Hoa Binh Corp has signed memorandums regarding the sale of 1,000,000 HBC stocks to strategic investors: PetroVietnam Finance Company – Ho Chi Minh City Branch (PVFC-HCM) – 750,000 stocks, Chip Eng Seng Corporation (CES) – 125,000 stocks and Bank for Investment and Development of Viet Nam Securities Company (BSC) – 125,000 stocks. These 1,000,000 stocks are among the stocks offered for sale in phase 2 / 2007 and have been transferred at the price of VND 94,400/stock (equal to 80% of the market price at the time the memorandums were signed. These stocks will have time limitation of transfer from 2 to 5 years.
