Hoa Binh is awarded the main contractor for the Academic Building 2 (AB2).  It is a 7-storey high building, including one basement and facilities that meet international construction standards. AB2 will accommodate up to 4,000 students. The total value of the contract is approximately VND 160 billion.
 

At the Ceremony, Professor Merilyn Liddel, President and General Director of RMIT Vietnam praised Hoa Binh for its managers and workers’ workmanship, particularly, for the RMIT Sport Center and Student Accommodation performed by Hoa Binh. The project has been awarded by the Ministry of Construction a Golden Cup for Construction Quality in 2010. She also highlighted the relationship between RMIT Vietnam and HBC during the past years and hoped that it would continually develop.

Mr. Le Viet Hai, HBC’s Chairman cum General Director promised that all of Hoa Binh staff would commit to and concentrate all the resources to ensure project’s schedule, labor safety and meet the international construction standards as well as any requirements of the RMIT Vietnam. The Academic Building 2 is expected to be completed in May, 2012.
