On August 8, Hoa Binh Construction and Real Estate Corporation (HBC) joined the Commencement Ceremony Phase 2 of the Courtyard by Marriott – Ham Tan Resort project at Tan Binh commune, La Gi town, Binh Thuan province. The project is owned by Saigon – Ham Tan Tourism Corporation, a member of the Saigon Invest Group.

Hoa Binh is the main contractor, in charge of hotel block, auxiliary area, seaview villas, a 200-seat restaurant, conference and spa areas. The value of contract is 80.99 billion VNĐ and the estimated construction duration is 18 months.

Saigon – Ham Tan Tourist Zone project covers 200ha and is about 150km away from Ho Chi Minh City and 50km from Phan Thiet town. The project has a total investment capital of 3,000 billion VNĐ and will enter into operation in 2012. This will be a tourist zone including trading centers, tourism services, entertainment, sport centers and high quality villas.

Participating in the project as the main contractor, HBC inspires trusts with the Investing Owners in general and the Saigon Invest Group in particular. The contract has partly contributed to the 2010 planned revenue target of HBC. As known, in the first six months of 2010, HBC’s revenue reached 689.67 billion VNĐ and profit after taxes reached 55.67 billion VNĐ. The FY10 planned revenue of HBC is 2,100 billion VND and profit after taxes is 95 billion VND.
