Hoa Binh has been rewarded of Sustainable Enterprise Award in 2018

On 22/11/2018, the Ceremony of Sustainable Enterprise in Vietnam 2018 was held in Hanoi by the Business Council for Sustainable Development (VBCSD), under the direction of Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI).

Implemented under the guidance of the Government in Announcement No. 398 / TB-VPCP dated 15/12/2015 on sustainable enterprise rating from 2016. This year, there were nearly 500 enterprise profiles attending the program for finding the typical enterprises in the business community, with 131 CSI 2018 indicators as close as GRI standards. Throughout its operation and development, Hoa Binh has met and fulfilled many targets. In terms of governance and environment, Hoa Binh is a pioneering enterprise applying quality management system as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001, and actively developing its own integrated management system. At the same time, Hoa Binh focuses in applying modern technology, renovation of management processes, raising the efficiency and efficiency of energy use, reducing the energy consumption with total 375 innovations and improvements over the past 2 years.

Besides its business activities, Hoa Binh actively participates in other activities and programs. At the ceremony, Dr. Vu Dinh Loc - Chairman of VCCI, Co-Chairman of VBCSD, has said: "One of the messages that VCCI, VCBSD always try to send to the business community is to change business mindset that seeing the Sustainable Development with a new lens. First of all, it is not a distant story for big companies and corporations, or the great countries in the world. It is a story at everywhere, an inevitable requirement of development. "
