"List of the best 50 companies" in 2019 ranked by Forbes Vietnam is selected from the companies with the best business results, being listed at Ho Chi Minh Stock Exchange (HSX) and Hanoi Stock Exchange (HNX). The companies in the list are mostly leading companies or have established competitive advantages in the industry, divided by industry groups.

Midori Park The View project is constructed by Hoa Binh as a general contractor.

According to the statistic results of Vietnam Forbes, 50 companies in the list reached VND127.530 billion in after-tax profit, increased 19.2%. Total capitalization of 50 companies reached USD94 billion, equivalent to 63% of the capitalization of the two listed exchanges in the middle of May 2019. According to data of Vietnam Forbes, the group of leading companies has impressive growth.

To make this list, Forbes Vietnam uses the Forbes (US) ranking method, which considers the characteristics of listed companies in Vietnam. The enterprises are calculated with the criteria such as the double growth rate of revenue, profit, ROE and the EPS growth in the period of 2013-2017. In addition, they also independently consider the level of the enterprises’ sustainable development: brand name, corporate governance quality, profit origin in the past, and the prospects for sustainable development.

The companies in the list are mostly leading companies or have established competitive advantages in the industry, divided by industry groups.
