On November 4, 2020, at the opening ceremony of the 2020-2021 school year of Hue University - University of Science, Le Mong Dao Education Support Fund awarded 50 million VND of scholarships to the Professor Hong Scholarship Fund. Professor Hong Duong NGUYEN VAN HAI (1927 - 2020), graduated with a PhD in Mathematics from Sorbonne University - Paris - France, he was the former principal of Quoc Hoc - Hue; Former School Directors Cao Nguyen and Trung Nguyen Trung Phan, former Dean of Hue University of Sciences, former Dean of Hue University of Education, former Deputy Director of Development Affairs of Hue University; Former Professor of Louisville Kentucky University - USA.

Especially, professor was the creator of the semi-public school model and was the first Principal of the Semi-Public School - Hue. On February 2, 2020 at the Memorial of Professor Hong Duong NGUYEN VAN HAI at Quang Huong Gia Lam Pagoda, we decided to establish the Hong Duong Professor NGUYEN VAN HAI Scholarship Fund to commemorate and honor a home. Outstanding teacher devoted his life to education and is a researcher and theorist deeply on Buddhist philosophy. The Fund is also a continuation of the former lofty gesture of Professor Hong Duong Nguyen Van Hai. At that time, Professor saved the scholarship fees to help poor students who are eager to learn, have good conduct and have the will to progress.
